Danica

I started the Danica scarf late last night. I probably don't need another project going rightthissecond, but I've been eyeing it for a while and I bought the yarn and I just couldn't wait to start. It's a lot different from what I expected, but a lot of fun. I know I already made mistakes - the first two times I picked up stitches, I did it backwards, so the purl bumps show, but I wasn't feeling confident enough to go back and fix it, what with all the decreases and everything. I figure that when I weave in the (million) ends, I'll go over the mistakes with the purple and they won't show as much.

I've still yet to decide if I want to throw a third color in there and what I want that third color to be. I'm leaning towards black - I can call it my "pessimism scarf"!

All the cool kids are doing it

Apparently, I'm just not one of the crafty internet elite if I don't have a knitting/crocheting blog. I was always good at caving in to peer pressure.

I can't wait for this fair isle cardigan to be finished. I'm nearing the end of the second sleeve, and then I just have to knit the belt, one more pocket edging, and then...I must put it together. I'm a little afraid. I've only done one raglan before and I'm nervous about the fit. Eeep.
